Ruhaan “Rooh Baba” Ruhaan Randhawa loves to fool people by pretending to be a ghost hunter. Meera’s uncle calls her to talk to Meera who is now dead. When Meera arrives, Rohan is horrified, believing her to be a real ghost. In reality, Meera is alive and her uncle has recorded her reaction on Meera’s phone and blackmails Rohan, threatening to release the video online if he does not accompany them to Rakht Ghat.

Having no other option, Rohan agrees. When he arrives, everyone is shocked to see him as he looks exactly like Rajkumar Debendranath, a prince from 200 years ago. The royal family is currently living in the stable due to the presence of Manjulika’s spirit in the palace.

Rajpurohit warns everyone not to go near Manjulika’s room, advising that it should be opened only on Durgashtami by a reborn royal to rid them of the ghost. Believing Rohan to be the reincarnation of Debendranath, everyone returns to the palace.

According to local legend, 200 years ago, Manjulika was a princess. The king also had a son named Debendranath with a maid. When he decided to name Debendranath his heir, Manjulika killed him in anger. In retaliation, the king burnt Manjulika alive, and her vengeful spirit now haunts the palace, responsible for many deaths.

In the present day, Meera calls in a restoration team to work on the palace so that it can be sold. Mallika, the team leader, begins to show signs of possession. Rohan learns about the real ghost and plans to escape, but realizes that he must delete his video before leaving. While searching for him, he discovers that Meera has secretly taken pictures of him, suggesting romantic feelings for him. She confirms this when confronted.

Rohan decides to stay but soon learns that Pandit, Panditayan, and Chhote Pandit are actually living in Manjulika’s room. They reveal that they tried to scare everyone so that they could stay there in peace. The restoration team takes over the room and accidentally breaks a wall, discovering a hidden passage leading to a locked room with the Bhairava Kavach. A curious Rajpurohit decides to find out more about the history of the palace.

In a desperate attempt to sell the property, Raja Saab decides to break the Bhairava Kavach with the help of Baba’s spirit. As soon as the door opens, Rajpurohit arrives with the news that the room belongs to Anjulika, the elder sister of Manjulika and Debendranath. He reveals that 200 years ago, the king had two daughters who despised each other.

Despite the palace’s haunted reputation, Mandira arrives as a potential buyer to find out more about the palace. After meeting Mallika, strange events start happening. Rajpurohit warns everyone to be careful until Durgashtami, the day when Manjulika is supposed to take revenge.

Rohan and Meera have several strange encounters with Mallika and Mandira, not knowing which one is the real Manjulika. The Rajpurohit returns with the holy oil to destroy Manjulika’s spirit, and on the night before Durgashtami, they gather at the site where her body was cremated 200 years ago. Rohan cleverly exorcises the spirit possessing both Mallika and Mandira, and eventually learns that she is not a woman but in fact a male ghost, the ghost of Prince Debendranath, who was killed 200 years ago for his love of dancing and his disdain for his male identity. It is eventually revealed that Anjulika and Manjulika conspired together to kill Debendranath in order to secure the throne. Once exposed to the king, the king orders his ministers to burn him (Debendranath) alive. The king then banishes the sisters from the kingdom and declares that Manjulika will be known for brutally killing her brother and Anjulika’s role in the story will be removed. Some time later, the ghost of Prince Debendranath kills the king and his guards. Rajpurohit then seals Debendranath’s spirit in the hidden chamber, which is secured by Bhairava Kavach. It is eventually revealed that it was Debendranath’s spirit that caused all the turmoil by possessing the reincarnations of his sisters Malika and Mandira.

In the end, the spirits of Malika, Mandira and Debendranath share a heartfelt moment where Debendranath finally finds the peace he has been longing for for over two centuries.

In the mid-credits scene, it is revealed that Mandira is not the real buyer. She is actually ACP Rathore, an undercover cop, who has come to arrest Ruhaan for fraud as the fake ghost hunter Rooh Baba. Rohaan, upon learning this, faints in shock as the credits roll.
